Two Required Steps to Schedule and Take Your New York DMV Road Test

IMPORTANT NOTES

Students must pick up the original MV-278 Certificate of Completion in person at our office, in accordance with NYS DMV regulations. The certificate is valid for one (1) year from the completion date and is required to schedule a DMV road test. The DMV does not accept digital copies or photocopies.

  • Step 1 - Complete the 5 Hours Pre-Licensing Course

  • 5-Hour Pre-Licensing Course Schedule (Zoom Only) Wednesday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM Dates: 02/25 and 03/11 Sunday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Dates: 03/08 __________________________________________________ How to To complete your registration(Must read): •Email Info@mryangsds.com •Attach a clear photo of your New York State learner permit •Include your preferred class date from the schedule above •You MUST sign in to your Zoom account using the same email address to complete your registration after receiving the link from school office. •Once you are successfully registered, your seat in the selected class will be automatically confirmed.

  • At Mr. Yang Driving School, We cover ALL new York road test scheduling services to fit your needs — whether you only need appointment scheduling or require a school vehicle with instructor escort on test day. Choose from standard or rush scheduling options based on your timeline and location preference.

  • Road Test Appointment Only (Available Statewide) This option includes DMV road test appointment scheduling only. Students must provide their own vehicle for the road test. Available at New York State DMV locations

  • Road Test Appointment + Car Rental (FLUSHING, QUEENS & LONG ISLAND CITY ONLY)
